{"id":340,"date":"2008-03-29T21:57:52","date_gmt":"2008-03-30T02:57:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonsobel.com\/?p=340"},"modified":"2008-03-31T09:25:53","modified_gmt":"2008-03-31T14:25:53","slug":"wandrings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonsobel.com\/?p=340","title":{"rendered":"Artful Wand&#8217;rings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It hasn&#8217;t been all sitting in dark rooms reviewing <a href=\"http:\/\/blogcritics.org\/archives\/features\/new_indie_cds.php\">CDs<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/blogcritics.org\/archives\/features\/stagemage.php\">plays<\/a>.  There&#8217;s also wandering around looking at art.  Today we checked out the <a href=\"http:\/\/poolartfair.com\/pool_ny_08\/pool_ny_2008.html\">Pool Art Fair<\/a> at the famous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotelchelsea.com\/\">Chelsea Hotel<\/a>.  I&#8217;d never been in the Chelsea before except to see the lobby, so this was a good opportunity to wander its hallowed halls and see where the art is made.  (Thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/vanishingnewyork.blogspot.com\/\">Jeremiah&#8217;s Vanishing New York<\/a> for the tip.) It was just like a neighborhood studio tour, except all in one building.
