{"id":338,"date":"2008-03-26T13:05:15","date_gmt":"2008-03-26T18:05:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonsobel.com\/?p=338"},"modified":"2008-03-26T13:07:13","modified_gmt":"2008-03-26T18:07:13","slug":"his-highness-hollywood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonsobel.com\/?p=338","title":{"rendered":"His Highness Hollywood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Celebrity blogger Dawn Olsen (of <a href=\"http:\/\/glosslip.com\/\">Glosslip<\/a>) and I attended a preview of investigative journalist Ian Halperin&#8217;s new documentary, <i>His Highness Hollywood,<\/i> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/nationalartsclub.org\/\">National Arts Club<\/a> last night.  Unfortunately a technical problem interrupted the film and we ended up settling for an earlier cut, which was still rough around the edges, but it was still quite amusing &#8211; and not just amusing, for in addition to skewering the easy target of Hollywood wannabe-stars, Halperin penetrates the scary world of Scientology.<\/p>\n<p>In attendance was celebrity biographer Andrew Morton, here discussing his new Tom Cruise bio with Dawn.
